We are now molding our oil fill elbows in house. An investment in equipment allows us to keep the price down & insures availibility (since we are not making tens of thousands at a time the commercial molding companies move the small stuff to the back of the line, creating a longer lead time) We have also enhanced this product by using a new compound called fluorosilicone. This product is used in the current automotive industry. The advantages are a higher temperature resistance & it's impermeablilty to oils & solvents is extremely high.
