The lower half of the lp door. Note the ejector pins sticking up. These are what pushes the part from the mold when finished.
Both halves in the 1500 ton press (3 million pounds).
We are molding our oil fill elbows in house. An investment in equipment allows us to keep the price down & insures availability. We have also enhanced this product by using a new compound called fluoro-silicone. This product is used in the current automotive industry. The advantages are a higher temperature resistance & it's impermeability to oils & solvents is extremely high.
